So, it’s finally girls’ night — and we’re so here for it. You and your besties are hanging out this weekend, and you’re planning something big. Whether you’re celebrating something major like someone’s birthday or just want to get glammed up for a chill Friday night, let’s start preparing your makeup look (if you’re into makeup!). Your makeup can be the perfect companion to your outfit and is *so* much fun to do while getting ready. If you’re looking for a subtle yet glam look for your next event but aren’t sure how to achieve it, you’re in the right place. Here, we’ll take you through an adorable, age-appropriate makeup look you can rock to your next girls’ night, school dance or wherever using a few of our Petite n’ Pretty holy grails. This tween and teen-friendly makeup will totally take your look up a notch while focusing on enhancing your natural beauty — to top it off, all these PnP products are clean and safe, so you’ll look amazing while protecting your delicate skin.
1. Face
Start with a clean, moisturized face (bonus points if you’re using PnP’s 9021-GLOW! Fresh Start Cleanser and Moisturizer). We’re going for an effortlessly bronzed vibe, so grab your 9021-BUNGALOW! Eye and Cheek Palette, and swipe the peachy cheek shade “Tropicali” all over the apples of your cheeks, working the product towards your temple in small circles with the large side of the included brush. Next, swipe the gorgeous “Poolside Posh” highlight color all over the small end of your brush (or even your fingers!) and focus it on your cheekbones for a nice picture-ready glow. If you’re going for a slightly more dramatic look, you can apply these products a bit heavier than normal — they’re super buildable!
2. Eyes
Now that we’re looking radiant and glowy, it’s time for some fun on the eyes. Let’s keep the 9021-BUNGALOW! Eye and Cheek Palette out and grab some of the pretty eyeshadow shades. Take the sparkly plum color “Cabana Bae” and apply a light wash over your eyelids with your favorite shader brush (our fav is here) or clean hands. If you’re looking for a little less color, opt for one of the two neutral shades “Sunkissed Shimmer” or “Blissed Out Bronze.” All of these shimmers are beautifully saturated and are sure to make you stand out for the night! You can find more shimmery shadows in the PnP Whimsicali Eye and Cheek Palette, maybe if you want to match your lid color to your outfit!
For a bit of age-appropriate drama, add the matte, chocolate brown shade “Cocoa Nuts” from the 9021-BUNGALOW! Eye and Cheek Palette in the natural crease of your lid with your favorite crease brush, lightly blending it in with soft windshield wiper motions. Blending is key — keep swiping it into your crease until you achieve a seamless color transition. For an added push, softly drag your sparkly lid shade along your lower lash line (blend, blend, blend!).
Finish the eyes by throwing the neutral “Shore Front '' shade into the inner corner and underneath your brow bone for a fabulous highlight and lightly swipe the Fully Feathered Volumizing Mascara over your top and bottom lashes to pull everything together.
3. Lips
The lips are our favorite part — it’s a staple that puts the cherry on top of any makeup look! The Petite 'n Pretty Glo$$ BALM Glossy Lip Balm is featured in every color you could dream of for a night out, made in a buttery-rich formula for soft and shiny lips all night long. We’re totally reaching for the pinky-red shade ‘Big Dream$” for this look, but you can make it your own with any color you love!
