Today, we’re going to show you how you can glitter as much or little as you want with any of our pediatrician-approved makeup palettes for a New Year’s Eve makeup look that’s totally you.
Ready to glitter like gold? Grab your brushes and let’s get to it! We’ll be using this limited-edition Pink Palms Brush Set — how cute are the pink handles — but you can also use the dual-ended brush that comes with every Petite ‘n Pretty palette.
STEP 1: GOLD SHIMMER EYESHADOW
No matter which Petite ‘n Pretty makeup palette you’re using, there’s a glittery gold for you! If you’re using our new holiday palette Everglow, start with the shade Frost Bright. If you’re using 9021-SNOW or 9021-GLOW, use shade Bungalow Bronze. Or, if you’re a 9021-BUNGALOW fan, use shade Sunkissed Shimmer to start.
Using the Petite Eye Shader Brush 1E or the eyeshadow side of the dual-ended brush from you Petite ‘n Pretty makeup palette to blend your shimmering gold eyeshadow from the inner corner all the way across the eyelid. A little glitter goes a long way, so start with just a tap and build up to the level of gold you want.
STEP 2: BRONZY SHIMMER EYESHADOW
This step is totally optional. If you want to add more bronzy depth to your NYE makeup look, add a deeper gold-to-bronze eyeshadow at the outer corner of the eye and up into the crease using the Crease Blender Brush 2E. The more you blend, the more natural the finished look will be!
From the Everglow palette, use the cool-gold shade Cider on Ice. From 9021-SNOW go rich with Cocoa on Ice or from the 9021-GLOW palette warm it up with Sunset Sparkle. 9021-BUNGALOW creates the most decadent, metallic NYE makeup look with just a touch of Blissed Out Bronze.
STEP 3: BRONZE & HIGHLIGHT
With the dual-ended Contour Brush 2D and the 9021-GLOW! Cheek & Highlighter Duo, perfecting your NYE glow is easy. Just blend Beachside Bronze just below the cheekbones with the angled brush side, then follow with a sweep of Sandbar Shimmer on the cheekbones using the domed side.
STEP 4: OR HIGHLIGHT WITH GEN GLITTER
Feeling extra for NYE and want extra glitter? Instead of highlighter, use your finger to blend Gen Glitter in 14 Karat Wear It onto your cheekbones for serious light-catching gold sparkle.
STEP 5: FULLY FEATHERED OR FEATHERLIGHT
